Harben Green is assisting a small privately owned care provider to recruit a Commissioning Manager for a brand new, purpose-built nursing home located on the coast of Sefton.

To provide a home-from-home experience in their stunning care homes, they support their employees to maximise their full career potential & deliver professional, kind & compassionate care.


Role:

A unique opportunity to manage a mid-sized, newly built, state-of-the-art residential & nursing care home with beautifully landscaped gardens in the picturesque town of Formby. The perfect candidate will be a passionate & accomplished Manager who can build & develop a strong team to successfully establish the reputation of the home within the local community to drive occupancy.


Responsibilities:
  • Overall management of the home.
  • Provide strong leadership, building a passionate team who will ensure the highest quality of outstanding care is delivered.
  • Effective sales & marketing establishing the home within the local community to drive occupancy.
  • Implement process with company policies & CQC requirements.
  • Financial management - budget & cost control.
  • Develop strong relationships with residents & their families, the local communities & regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure the home moves forward to achieve a "Good" CQC, exceeding current CQC requirements.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years Management experience within the Care sector.
  • RGN/RMN with an active PIN is preferred, however, nursing home experience will be considered.
  • Sound commercial awareness adept in managing a profitable home.
  • Skilled in marketing to increase awareness & occupancy.
  • Proven ability in managing "Good" rated homes or previous commissioning experience.
  • An in-depth knowledge & understanding of current CQC regulations & requirements.

Package:
  • Up to £55,000 Basic salary
  • 25% Bonus 
  • Generous holiday allowance of 30 days + 8 bank holidays
  • Ongoing training programmes
