Harben Green is assisting a small regional care group to recruit a Commissioning Manager for a brand new, purpose-built nursing home located on the Wirral.

Role:

A unique opportunity to manage a beautifully modern, 75 bedded (approx) superior nursing & residential care home. The perfect candidate will be commercially strong & will swiftly establish the home within the local community, building key partnerships to drive occupancy.


Responsibilities:  
  • Commission, manage & develop the daily clinical & commercial operations of the home.
  • Implement innovative sales & marketing initiatives, identify new business opportunities within the local community to drive strong occupancy.
  • Forge key partnerships within the local area, developing compassionate relationships with residents & their families.  
  • Ensure process & compliance with CQC regulations & company policies, achieving the highest quality of care.
  • Maximise profitability through revenue generation, budget management & cost control.
  • Attract & develop a talented & compassionate team to deliver the highest quality of care.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • Proven track record managing "good" rated Nursing homes, preferably within the private pay market.
  • RMA Level 4 or above 
  • Experienced in marketing & commissioning new homes, delivering strong occupancy from the offset.
  • Sound business & financial acumen - skilled in achieving company targets. 
  • Comprehensive knowledge & understanding of the latest CQC regulations & requirements.
  • Proven leadership experience - competent in developing highly-skilled & passionate teams.
