We are assisting a privately owned, care provider to recruit a Commissioning Manager for a brand new purpose-built nursing home located towards north Birmingham.

A well respected, independent boutique care operator, my Client is dedicated to providing exceptional levels of personalised care & wellbeing in a safe, relaxed & homely environment. 


Role:

A great opportunity to join a small, progressive care provider to commission a brand-new nursing home located based towards the north of Birmingham. The successful candidate will be a driven & innovative Manager, who will quickly establish the home within the local community to drive occupancy whilst ensuring the CQC compliancy from the outset, mirroring the excellent reputation within the group. 


Responsibilities:
  • Day to day management of the home.
  • Build & develop your team to ensure the highest quality of person-centred care is delivered.
  • Ensure the home delivers & goes on to exceed current CQC requirements.
  • Forge and manage strong, compassionate relationships with residents & their families, the local community & regulatory bodies. 
  • Budget & cost management to deliver a profitable home.
  • Effective marketing of the home to increase awareness & occupancy.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years management experience within nursing homes
  • RGN/RMC Pin is preferred but not essential.
  • Proven ability in managing "Good" rated homes or previous commissioning experience.  
  • An in-depth knowledge & understanding of current CQC regulations & requirements.
  • Strong people management skills, someone who can build & develop a team through strong leadership to consistently achieve excellence. 
  • Sound commercial skillset, adept in managing a profitable home.

Package:
  • Up to £70,000 basic salary.
  • Discretionary bonus.
