Harben Green are working with a small, regional provider to recruit a Deputy Manager to assist in managing a purpose-built nursing & residential home in Oldbury.

Role:

A unique opportunity to assist a mid-size purpose-built, nursing & residential home in the town of Oldbury, with easy access to the M5. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic Manager who will effectively support the Home Manager, establishing a strong & passionate team who are dedicated to providing outstanding levels of care.


Responsibilities:
  • Provide strong leadership to mentor & inspire your team to ensure the highest quality of person-centred care is delivered.
  • Overall responsibility to assist the Home Manager in running the home.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies & CQC requirements, maintaining & exceeding the current 'Good' CQC rating.
  • Forge and manage strong relationships with residents & their families, the local community and regulatory bodies. 
  • Marketing of the home to increase awareness in the community.
  • Manage and develop a financially profitable home inline with company targets.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ deputy management experience, preferably in a mid-sized nursing home.
  • Complex nursing skills; RGN/RMN qualification with an active PIN.
  • Excellent communication skills, someone who can provide strong leadership and effective management to inspire the team to consistently achieve excellence. 
  • Commercial awareness - knowledge of budget & cost control to run a profitable home.
  • In-depth understanding of current CQC regulations & requirements with a proven ability in managing "Good" rated homes.
  • Skilled in delivering process & compliance with CQC.

Package:
  • £45,000 Basic salary
