Harben Green are working alongside one of the UK’s leading luxury care operators to recruit a General Manager for a beautiful residential care home in Edgbaston.


Renowned as champions of quality care, my Client enjoys an enviable reputation within care sector, with all of their homes CQC rated Good or Outstanding. Pioneering a positive revolution, they are actively invested in recruiting Managers who share their passion for delivering exceptional service.


A fantastic opportunity to manage a stunning, large residential care home located a stone's throw from central Birmingham, easily commutable from all major motorways. The successful candidate will be a true leader who, with full autonomy & support will manage the home & lead their team to provide exceptional levels of first-class care.

  • Overall management of the home.
  • Lead & engage your team to create a safe & compassionate environment ensuring the highest quality of professional care is delivered.
  • Budget & cost management to deliver a profitable home.
  • Effective sales & marketing of the home within the local community to maximise occupancy.
  • Ensure the home continues to retain their "Good" rating & moves forward to exceed current CQC requirements.
  • Forge and manage strong relationships with residents & their families, the local community & regulatory bodies.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years Management experience, preferably within the Care sector.
  • An in-depth knowledge & understanding of current CQC regulations & requirements.
  • Sound commercial aptitude - care industry preferred but not essential.
  • Skilled in marketing to increase awareness & occupancy.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills. 
  • Competent ability in managing large teams, someone who can engage and develop their team to consistently achieve excellence.
  • A Registered Manager experienced in achieving organisational aims and objectives is desirable.
