We are working with an established, regional care provider to recruit a General Manager to manage a large purpose-built, nursing & residential home in Bolton.

A unique opportunity to manage a large purpose built, nursing & residential home in Bolton, with easy access to the M1. The successful candidate will be an experienced & enthusiastic Manager who will lead from the front, supporting & mentoring the team across this multi-site home, striving to exceed current CQC ratings. 

  • Overall responsibility for overseeing the home.
  • Develop long-lasting relationships with the residents, their families, the local community & regulatory bodies. 
  • Strive to exceed the current 'Good' CQC through continual success & progression.
  • Mentor your team, delivering exceptional levels of person centred care, reflecting the companies core values.
  • Marketing of the homes to increase occupancy levels & awareness.
  • Budget & cost control; effectively running a financially stable home.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years experience within the care sector & nursing homes.
  • Adept in operating "Good" multi-site homes & turnaround experience.  
  • Sound knowledge of current and evolving CQC regulations & requirements.
  • RMA Level 4 or above/equivalent qualification.
  • RGN/RMN active PIN.
  • Strong commercial acumen - an understanding of the organisations business & marketing drivers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in order to lead & mentor a team to drive the home to success.
  • Ability to carry out budgeting responsibilities for the home.
