Harben Green is working alongside one of the UK’s leading luxury care operators to recruit a General Manager for a stunning, residential care home in Sidcup, Kent.


Client: 

Well established & regarded as one of the UK's first luxury care providers, my Client has a vision to promote a high quality of life for seniors through their unique care approach, to maintain independance & dignity.


Role:

An exciting opportunity to manage a truly stunning, large residential care home based in acres of beautiful, landscaped grounds in Sidcup, Kent with close links to the M20 & M25. The successful candidate will use their proven management experience to achieve the overall "Good" rating this home truly deserves.


Responsibilities:  
  • Responsible for the overall management of the home.
  • Lead, motivate and inspire your team to create a welcoming & compassionate environment and deliver the highest quality of unique care to residents.
  • Develop strong relationships with residents and their families, the local community and regulatory bodies 
  • Financial management including cost, budget & audit management inline with the homes key performance indicators.
  • Effective sales & marketing of the home within the local community to enhance the homes reputation and in turn drive occupancy.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • Proven senior management experience, preferably as a Registered Manager in a similar capacity.
  • Demonstrable skills in managing large teams, someone who can engage and lead their team to consistently achieve excellence.
  • Proven competency in running a successful care home - meeting organisational aims and objectives through effective workload management.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • An in-depth knowledge & understanding of the latest CQC regulations & requirements.

Package:
  • Basic salary circa £75,000 - £85,000.
  • 30% bonus
  • 28 days Holiday (plus Bank Holidays)
