Harben Green is working with one of the UK’s leading luxury care operators to recruit a General Manager for their stunning, residential & nursing care community in Chichester, Portsmouth.

Role:

An unique opportunity to manage a large high-quality nursing & residential community set in award winning gardens & located in Chichester just 10 miles from the coast. The successful candidate will be a forward-thinking Home Manager with a blend of compassion, resilience & exceptional Management skills.


Responsibilities:  
  • Overall management of all aspects of the home.
  • Through strong leadership, develop & motivate your team to deliver the highest quality of person-centred care to residents. 
  • Financial management including cost, budget & audit management.
  • Effective sales & marketing within the local community to increase awareness and in turn, drive occupancy.
  • Forge and develop strong relationships with residents, the local community, colleagues and regulatory bodies. 
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, practices & processes is both adhered to and consistently achieved.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 3+ years senior management experience.
  • RGN/RMN Registered Nurse
  • Registered Manager - level 4 or above or a willingness to work towards this.
  • Proven competency in running successful, Good or Outstanding care homes.
  • Strong commercial & financial acumen.
  • An in-depth knowledge & understanding of the latest CQC regulations & requirements.
  • A forward thinking Manager, someone who can lead & inspire colleagues to consistently deliver first-class, person-centred care. 

Package:
  • Basic salary circa £65,000 - £85,000 based on experience.
