We are working alongside a national, award-winning care provider to recruit a Home Manager for their brand new, purpose-built nursing & residential care home in Edinburgh.


A respected & established care operator, my Client is recognised as one of the UK's Top 20 Care Home providers. They are dedicated to building & coaching their teams to enjoy progressive careers & deliver high levels of outstanding care to all residents.


A fantastic opportunity to manage a brand new, mid-sized, purpose-built nursing home in Edinburgh, within reach of the A720 city bypass. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic manager who will go the extra mile for the residents, promoting a safe & secure environment that welcomes friends & families.

  • Overall responsibility for managing the home.
  • Recruit & develop your team to provide the highest quality of outstanding care within the home.
  • Marketing of the home within the local community in order to increase occupancy & awareness.
  • Ensure the home continues to maintain their "Good" rating with the determination to achieve "Very Good" upon their next inspection.
  • Create compassionate relationships with residents & their families, the local community & regulatory bodies. 
  • Cost control & budget management.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years management experience, preferably in nursing homes.
  • RGN/RMN with an active PIN.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to build, inspire & motivate a passionate team to achieve continuous success.
  • Past experience in managing "Good" mid-size homes. 
  • RMA Level 4 and above.
  • Key understanding of Care Inspectorate regulations & requirements.
  • Strong marketing knowledge - increasing awareness & occupancy.
  • Commercial awareness, adept in managing a profitable home.
