We are assisting a national, not-for-profit care operator to source a Home Manager for a lovely, purpose-built, residential home in Stow-on-the-Wold.

Role:

The opportunity to manage a newly built, mid-sized residential home in Stow-on-the-Wold, in the Cotswolds. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills & a commercial awareness to ensure occupancy targets are achieved by developing a strong reputation within the local area.


Responsibilities:
  • Overall responsibility of managing the home.
  • Showcase effective leadership & management skills to coach a passionate team who will provide outstanding care.
  • Manage the home to achieve a 'Good' first CQC rating, striving for excellent results aligned with company policies & CQC requirements.
  • Budget & cost management to deliver profitable homes. 
  • Create long-lasting & compassionate relationships with the residents, their families, the local community & regulatory bodies. 
  • Successfully promote & market the home in the community to increase occupancy & awareness.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years experience, with good knowledge of dementia care.
  • NVQ Level 4/or equivalent and above.
  • Proven track record in managing "Good" homes and/or turnaround experience. 
  • Commercial skillset - budget & cost control management.
  • Knowledge of current CQC regulations, skilled in delivering compliance.
  • Sound marketing experience to maximise occupancy levels.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead & motivate a team to achieve consistent excellence.
