Harben Green are working with a leading nationwide, not-for-profit, care operator to recruit a Home Manager for a purpose-built, residential & nursing home in Lydney.

Role:

A fantastic opportunity to manage a mid-sized "Good" rated home near Lydney, with close links to the A48. The successful candidate will be an experienced Manager with a proven ability managing "Good" rated homes combined with inspirational leadership qualities. 


Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the day to day running of the home.
  • Lead, manage and inspire your team to create a caring, family environment ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered.
  • Forge strong relationships with the residents, their families, the local community & regulatory bodies.
  • Drive the home to retain their "Good" rating, striving for progression in line with company objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with current & evolving CQC requirements & regulations.
  • Financial management - meeting budget & audit targets.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years management experience.
  • RMA Level 4 and above. 
  • RMN / RGN Active Nursing Pin is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, leading & inspiring your team to provide the most compassionate care.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Marketing experience to maximise the home's occupancy to its full potential.
  • Proven experience in 'Good' homes with a solid understanding of current CQC regulations & requirements.
