Harben Green are working with one of the UK's fastest growing care providers to recruit a Home Manager for a purpose-built residential home in Carlisle.

Role:

An excellent opportunity to manage a small, purpose-built (approx 30 beds) residential home in Carlisle, surrounded by beautiful woodlands & easy access to the M6. The successful candidate will be a passionate manager who can progress the home to achieve the 'Good' CQC rating that it deserves. 


Responsibilities:
  • Daily management of the home.
  • Provide strong leadership to motivate & inspire a passionate team to deliver outstanding care.
  • Effectively turn the home around to achieve a 'Good' CQC rating upon next inspection.
  • Ensure constitent compliance with company policies & CQC requirements. 
  • Budget & cost management to deliver a profitable home.
  • Develop long-lasting relationships with the residents, their families & the local community. 

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years home management experience. - Deputy Managers will be considered.
  • RMA Level 4 or above / equivalent management qualification in care.
  • A proven track record managing homes with a "Good" CQC rating. Turnaround experience will be an advantage.
  • Skilled in budgets & cost management.
  • In-depth knowledge of current & evolving CQC requirements, skilled in delivering process & compliance.
  • Great communication skills, to lead from the front & mentor the team to consistently achieve excellence.
