We are assisting a well respected national care provider to recruit a Home Manager for a lovely, purpose-built nursing care home in Stonehaven, just south of Aberdeen.

Award-winning within the care sector, my Client is renowned for the exceptional standards of person-centred care they provide throughout their homes. They are dedicated to recruiting ambitious Home Managers, devoted to the sector & those who will enjoy a long, fulfilling careers with them. 


Role:

A unique opportunity to manage a modern, 35 bed (approx) nursing care home located in the pretty town of Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire. The ideal candidate will be a talented & experienced Manager who whilst maintaining the Grade 5 Care Inspectorate rating, will also continue to grow the homes already stellar reputation within the local community.


Responsibilities:
  • Overall management of the home.
  • Develop & motivate your team to continue to provide the highest quality of person-centred care through individual care plans.
  • Ensure the home maintains the current Care Inspectorate rating whilst striving for continuous progress.
  • Develop strong & compassionate relationships with residents & their families, the local community & regulatory bodies. 
  • Budget & cost management to deliver a profitable home.
  • Continue to effectively promote the home to increase awareness & meet occupancy targets.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years management experience preferably within nursing homes.
  • RGN/RMN with an active PIN.
  • Proven ability in managing "Good" rated homes.    
  • In-depth knowledge of current Care Inspectorate regulations & requirements, experienced in achieving consistent compliance.
  • A talented communicator, someone who will provide strong & personable leadership with a passion to develop their team. 
  • Sound commercial skillset, adept in managing profitable homes.
  • Skilled in marketing - increasing awareness & occupancy.

Package:
  • £40,000 basic salary
