Working alongside a progressive, national care operator to source a Home Manager for an attractive residential care home in South West Cornwall.

A great opportunity to manage a lovely mid sized, purpose-built residential care home located in South West Cornwall. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader who will drive high standards of person-centred care swiftly progressing the home. 

  • Manage the operational running of the home.
  • Provide clear & inspirational leadership, developing a loyal team to deliver an exceptional resident experience.
  • Ensure process & compliance is consistently in line with CQC requirements to attain "Good" upon the next inspection.
  • Establish & grow great relationships with your team, the residents & their families, local communities & regulatory bodies.
  • Effective commercial management - budget management & cost control.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • A minimum of 2 years management within older people care homes.
  • RMA Level 5 /equivalent.
  • Proven ability maintaining "Good" CQC reports - turnaround experience would be advantageous.
  • A strong & driven people manager - someone who will lead a team to deliver outstanding & compassionate resident care.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current & evolving CQC requirements, skilled in process & compliance.
  • Highly organised - the ability to run a successful home through effective marketing, care plan auditing & budget management.
