We are recruiting on behalf of a leading national care operator to source a Home Manager for their mid-sized nursing home in Cannock, Birmingham.


A well-established and respected residential & nursing home care provider, my Client is proud to create an award winning care centred approach throughout their homes. This care centred approach transcends throughout their organisation in their vision to be the best place to work in the care sector. 


The opportunity to manage a mid-sized purpose built, nursing home located just north of Birmingham within easy access of the M6. The successful candidate will be a talented manager who can lead and motivate their teams to drive standards forwards and deliver outstanding levels of care.  

  • Overall responsibility for the day to day running of the home.
  • Forge and develop strong relationships with suppliers, the local community and regulatory bodies. 
  • Ability to lead from the front whilst motivating and inspiring your team to deliver the highest standards of resident and nursing care.
  • Budget & audit management

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years management experience within the care sector
  • An active RGN/RMN pin or experience managing nursing homes.
  • Proven ability managing "Good" rated homes or turnaround experience within failing homes.
  • An in-depth knowledge & understanding of CQC regulations & requirements.
  • Demonstrable skills in managing teams, someone who can lead and develop others to consistently achieve excellence.
  • Sound business acumen.
