Harben Green are recruiting a Home Manager to work for a well-established care provider & manage a charming, 40+ bedded residential home located in Dorset.

Role:

A rewarding opportunity for a dedicated & experienced manager to run one of the region’s leading care homes. The ideal candidate will have proven longevity in each of their previous roles & will be determined to bring this currently “good” rated home back to its previous rating of “outstanding”.


Responsibilities:
  • Daily management of the home.
  • Proven ability in managing "Good" homes & preferably with experience in an “Outstanding” home. 
  • Financial ownership - budget & cost control in line with company objectives.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders & regulatory bodies.
  • Provide strong & inspirational leadership supporting your team to deliver “Outstanding” care. 
  • Ensure successful promotion within the local community to continue to raise occupancy levels.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • RMA Level 4 or equivalent qualification in care.
  • Experience in “good” or “outstanding” nursing homes, with longevity in each role. 
  • An ambitious & influential leader with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of current & evolving CQC regulations & requirements, skilled in implementing process & compliance.
  • Commercially aware - the ability to run a profitable home through effective marketing & budget management.

Package:
  • Up to £45,000 basic salary
