Harben Green is assisting a growing East of England care provider to recruit a Home Manager for their beautiful nursing home in Kings Lynn.


Client:

A family run care group, my client is proud to create quality residential & nursing homes with outstanding levels of person centred care. Led by an experienced operator & supported by a strong senior management team, my client is driven to maintain these excellent levels of care throughout as they continue to grow their portfolio of homes.


Role:

An excellent opportunity to manage this large, purpose built and well established nursing home which benefits from excellent levels of occupancy and a long serving, passionate nursing team.


Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the day to day running of the home.
  • Forge and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and regulatory bodies. 
  • Financial management including cost control, budget & audit management
  • Ability to lead, motivate and inspire your team to provide the highest standard of person centred care to residents. 
  • Continue to manage & maintain a strong team with a particular focus on recruitment, team engagement and retention.
  • Ensure the level of care delivered both meets and exceeds current CQC requirements.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • A minimum of 2+ years nursing home management experience.
  • Nursing qualification is preferred but not essential,
  • An in-depth knowledge & understanding of the latest CQC regulations & requirements.
  • Demonstrable skills in managing large teams, someone who can engage and develop their team to consistently achieve excellence.
  • Sound business acumen.
  • A talented communicator, who can engage and build rapport with resident families and within the local community.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills. 

Package:
  • Basic salary circa £60,000 based on experience.
