Harben Green are working alongside a progressive care provider to source a Home Manager for a mid-sized, residential care home in Accrington, Lancashire.


Client:

Having recently acquired a small portfolio of care homes, my Client is dedicated to maintain & progress their "Good" rated homes to deliver first-class care. They are passionate to attract highly-knowledgeable, ambitious care professionals aligned with their care values & company vision.


Role:

The perfect opportunity for commercially focused Manager to lead the team at light & spacious mid-sized (50 approx bedded) residential home in Accrington.  This role offers significant autonomy for an ambitious self-starter talented in achieving high occupancy levels & outstanding person-centred care.  


Responsibilities:
  • Full accountability for the commercial & clinical running of the home.
  • Financial ownership - budget & cost control in line with company objectives.
  • Effective marketing within the local community, establishing the home's reputation to achieve high occupancy.
  • Build & maintain key relationships with external partners & develop compassionate relationships with residents & their families.  
  • Recruit & inspire your team to deliver the highest quality of person-centred care.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations & company policies, progressing the home to "Outstanding".

Key skills & knowledge:
  • RMA Level 4 or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in marketing, building on the home's reputation & maximising occupancy.
  • Sound business acumen - adept in achieving financial & occupancy objectives. 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CQC regulations & requirements, ambitious for continuous improvement.
  • A natural leader, experienced in building a loyal healthcare team through structured training & development.
  • Experience within the private pay sector would be an advantage.

Package:
  • Up to £45,000 basic salary.
