Harben Green are working alongside a boutique, independent care operator to recruit an experienced Home Manager for a small residential care home in Heavitree, Exeter.


Client:

Following the recent acquisition of this home, my Client is keen to continue their reputation for the provision of high-quality, compassionate resident care. They are dedicated to attract & develop loyal individuals who will share their commitment to making a real difference to the lives of their residents.


Role:

The opportunity to manage a lovely "Good" rated, 30-bedded (approx) residential care home in Heavitree, Exeter.  Accomplished in managing successful care homes, you will support & develop your team to become "Outstanding".  


Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the management of the home to ensure a well-led service is delivered.
  • Provide motivational leadership to support your team in the provision of the highest standards of resident care.
  • Ensure the "Good" CQC rating is maintained through consistent compliance, with the ambition to achieve "Outstanding".
  • Establish beneficial partnerships within the local community whilst building compassionate relationships with residents, their families & your team. 

Key skills & knowledge:
  • Proven management experience within older people residential care homes.
  • Minimum RMA Level 4 /equivalent.
  • An established track record maintaining "Good" CQC homes with the skill set to achieve "Outstanding".
  • Highly organised - the ability to run a successful home through effective workload management.
  • A talented & inspirational leader, passionate to develop your team to consistently achieve excellence. 
  • Commercially aware - the ability to run a profitable home through effective marketing & budget management.

Package:
  • Circa £45,000 basic salary.
  • Discretionary bonus.
