Harben Green are assisting a well respected, boutique care group to source a Home Manager for a beautiful, nursing & residential home in Reading.

The opportunity to manage an attractive, mid-sized (<50 beds) nursing & residential home in the stunning Henley-on-Thames. The successful candidate will be a natural people person who will thrive in leading a devoted team & progressing the home to achieve the rating they truly deserve. 

  • Overall responsibility for the delivery of high-quality nursing & care to residents.
  • Manage the commercial & operational daily runnings of the home.
  • Deliver consistent compliance with companies policies & CQC requirements, dedicated to achieving the highest standards of care. 
  • Build strong & compassionate relationships with residents & their families.
  • Provide strong & motivational leadership managing & supporting your teams' performance.
  • Grow the homes' reputation, developing strong links with regulatory bodies & the local community.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • Substantial experience in managing successful "Good" rated nursing homes.
  • Possess strong commercial acumen - maximising profitability through effective cost control. 
  • In-depth knowledge of current and evolving CQC regulations highly skilled in maintaining process & compliance.
  • Sound marketing experience, a history of maintaining high occupancy.
  • Confident & natural leader who will develop a passionate team to achieve excellence within the home & career.
  • Experience within turnaround projects would be an advantage.

  • Circa £60,000 basic salary
