We are working with a well respected, award winning care provider to recruit a Home Manager for their purpose built, residential & dementia nursing home in South Shields.


My Client is a leading, national care operator driven to improve the lives of their residents through their unique and award winning care centred approach. This approach they reflect throughout their internal organisation with the first rate professional development they offer Managers. 


The opportunity to manage a modern, purpose built nursing home based in the town centre, surrounded by beautiful gardens. The home has a great reputation within the local community and due to an internal move, my Client is now looking for a strong manager to ensure the home continues to thrive and provide exceptional levels of care.

  • The day to day management of the home.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and inspire your team to ensure the highest standards of person centred care continue to be delivered.
  • Manage and develop strong relationships with suppliers, regulatory bodies and the local community.
  • Budget and cost control management

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years management experience within the care sector
  • An active RGN/RMN pin or experience managing nursing homes.
  • An in depth knowledge & understanding of current CQC regulations & requirements.
  • Proven experience managing "Good" rated homes.
  • Demonstrable skills in managing teams, someone who can lead from the front to develop others to consistently achieve excellence.
  • Sound financial acumen.
