We are assisting a leading nationwide, not-for-profit, care operator to recruit a Home Manager for a residential nursing home in Cirencester.

The opportunity to manage a mid-sized nursing home set in pretty gardens in a quiet area of the Cotswold market town, Cirencester. Already a strong Manager, the successful candidate will lead their team to continue to deliver the highest quality of care with a passion to achieve "Outstanding" in their next inspection. 

  • Responsible for the day to day running of the home.
  • Financial management including budget & audit management inline with financial guidelines.
  • Ability to lead, manage and motivate your team to create a caring, family environment ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered.
  • Recruit & continue to establish a strong team with a particular focus on team engagement and retention.
  • Manage and develop strong relationships with regulatory & governing bodies. 
  • Ensure the home continues to retain their "Good" rating and goes on to improve and exceed current CQC requirements.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 3+ years management experience within the care sector
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social care or equivalent/working towards.  
  • An in depth knowledge & understanding of current CQC regulations & requirements.
  • Strong financial and business acumen
  • Demonstrable experience in managing teams, someone who can lead from the front to develop and inspire others to consistently achieve excellence.
