Harben Green are working with a well respected, family run, care provider to recruit a Home Manager for their mid-sized residential home in Poole, Dorset.


Client:

My client is an established residential and nursing care home provider with a strong presence across the South of England. They take great pride in each care homes unique identity, excellent facilities and the passion with which their teams deliver a superior quality of care and friendship to residents and their families. 


Role:

An opportunity has arisen to manage this beautiful lakeside residential home based towards Poole in Dorset. The successful candidate will be committed to upholding the high levels of care already being delivered with a passion to lead the team to an "Outstanding" in their next inspection. 


Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day to day operations of the home.
  • Lead, mentor and motivate your team to create a caring, family environment ensuring the highest quality of person-centered care is delivered.
  • Manage and develop strong relationships with regulatory & governing bodies. 
  • Ensure the home continues to retain their "Good" rating and goes on to improve and exceed current CQC requirements.
  • Effective marketing & financial management to run a profitable home.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years management experience within the care sector.
  • Proven ability in managing "Good" rated homes.  
  • An in-depth knowledge & understanding of current CQC regulations & requirements.
  • Sound business acumen.
  • A talented people manager, someone who knows how to lead from the front to develop and inspire others to consistently achieve excellence. 

Package:
  • £40,000 Basic salary
