Harben Green are working with a leading national, not-for-profit, care providers to recruit a Home Manager for a residential care home in New Malden. 


Client:

A well respected older people's charity, my Client's has an extensive portfolio of residential nursing homes across the UK and internationally. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life with the highest standards of care they provide through the socially active communities within their care homes. 


Role:

A unique opportunity to manage a mid-sized nursing home with an exceptional reputation within the sector and the local community.  Already a strong Manager, the successful candidate will lead & develop their team to continue to deliver the highest quality of care with a determination to achieve "Outstanding" in their next inspection. 


Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing the daily running of the home.
  • Lead, manage and motivate your team to create a caring, family environment ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered.
  • Manage and develop strong relationships with residents and their families, the local community and regulatory bodies. 
  • Ensure the home continues to retain their "Good" rating and goes on to improve and exceed current CQC requirements.
  • Financial management & marketing of the home.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years management experience within the care sector
  • NVQ Level 5 or registered Manager award.  
  • An in-depth knowledge & understanding of current CQC regulations & requirements.
  • Experience managing "Good" rated homes or turning around failing homes.
  • Strong people management skills, someone who can lead and inspire their team to consistently achieve excellence.
