Harben Green are working with a family owned, independent care provider to recruit a Home Manager for their small residential & nursing home in Weston-super-Mare.

They take great pride in the passion with which their teams deliver a superior quality of care and friendship to residents and their families. 


Role:

A unique opportunity to manage this beautiful care home situated on the stunning seafront in Weston-super-Mare. Already a strong manager, you will have a passion & determination to lead & develop your team to achieve a "Good" rating across all areas upon their next inspection.


Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the day to day operations of the home.
  • Provide strong leadership and develop your team to create a caring, family environment ensuring the highest quality of person-centred care is delivered.
  • Forge and manage strong relationships with residents & their families, the local community and regulatory bodies. 
  • Ensure the home continues to move forward to improve & exceed current CQC requirements & achieve a "Good" rating overall upon the next inspection.
  • Effective marketing of the home within the local community.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years management experience within the care sector.
  • Proven ability in managing "Good" rated homes or turning around failing homes.  
  • An in-depth knowledge & understanding of current CQC regulations & requirements.
  • Strong people management skills, someone who can provide great leadership to develop and inspire their team to consistently achieve excellence. 

Package:
  • Circa £45,000 basic salary
  • £10,000 Bonus
