We are assisting a leading, luxury care operator to source a Home Manager for their nursing home in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.


Client:

My Client is a well recognised regional provider with an extensive portfolio of residential & nursing homes across the South East of England. True to their vision, they create nursing care homes where dignity is respected and independence promoted through the quality of care they provide.   


Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to manage a mid-sized, purpose built and elegant nursing home set in idyllic, landscaped gardens in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.  The successful candidate will provide great leadership in developing their team to consistently deliver the highest standards of care. 


Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing the daily running of the home.
  • Lead, manage and motivate your team to create a welcoming, supportive environment ensuring the highest quality of personalised care is delivered.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, practices & processes is adhered to and consistently achieved developing new methods where necessary.
  • Ensure the home continues to retain their "Good" rating and goes on to improve and exceed current CQC requirements.
  • Effective budget & audit management.
  • Manage and develop strong relationships with residents, the local community, internal teams and regulatory bodies. 

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years Home management experience within the care sector
  • Active RGN/RMN Pin desirable
  • An in-depth knowledge & understanding of current CQC regulations & requirements.
  • Experience managing "Good" rated homes or turning around failing homes.
  • Strong people management skills, someone who can lead and inspire their team to consistently achieve excellence within a first-rate, luxury Care home.
  • Sound business acumen.
