We are assisting a leading, not-for-profit, care provider to recruit a Home Manager for their care home in Cheltenham.


Client:

One of the largest, charity care operators, my Client is renowned for their caring ethos & enjoys an enviable reputation as a "care first" organisation.  A progressive care provider, they are driven to be at the forefront of innovative practice & exceptional care delivery which they provide their residents.  


Role:

A great opportunity to manage this attractive, mid-sized care home set in a much sought after village on the outskirts of Cheltenham. Rated "Good" by the CQC, the successful candidate will continue to lead their team to deliver the highest quality of care with a resolve to achieve "Outstanding" in their next inspection. 


Responsibilities:
  • Manage the operational running of the home.
  • Lead & motivate your team to create a caring, family environment ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered.
  • Financial management including budget & audit management.
  • Forge and manage strong relationships with residents & their families, the local community & regulatory bodies.
  • Effective marketing of the home within the local community to maximise occupancy.
  • Ensure the home continues to retain their "Good" rating & goes on to improve & exceed current CQC requirements.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years Home Manager experience.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care or equivalent.  
  • An in-depth knowledge & understanding of current CQC regulations & requirements.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing teams, someone who can lead from the front to develop & inspire team members to realise individual career goals.

Package:
