Harben Green is working alongside a fast-growing luxury care provider to recruit a Home Manager for their stunning, purpose built, residential care home in Bournemouth.


Client: 

This financially well-backed care operator design, build & manage, state of the art, luxury care homes primarily focused on the private pay market. On a rapid expansion plan with a number of new homes already in development, my client is poised to fast become a leading provider across the South coast of England. 


Role:

This is a unique opportunity to manage this brand new, specialist nursing care home set in beautiful woodlands, easily commutable from Bournemouth or Poole. The successful candidate will be autonomous in their management & will use their proven experience to manage a profitable home, well recognised in the local community.


Responsibilities:  
  • Overall management of all aspects of the home.
  • Lead & develop your team to deliver the highest quality of exceptional care to residents in line with the company's mission & values.
  • Financial management including cost, budget & audit management of a profitable home. 
  • Effective sales & marketing of the home, identifying new business opportunities within the local community to increase awareness and in turn, drive occupancy.
  • Forge and develop key relationships within the local area and regulatory bodies. 
  • Ensuring compliance with both CQC & company policies, practices & processes is both adhered to and consistently achieved.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years management experience, preferably within the private pay market.
  • Sound business & financial acumen, skilled in managing budgets.
  • An in-depth knowledge & understanding of the latest CQC regulations & requirements.
  • Strong people manager, someone who can lead & inspire their teams to deliver exceptional levels of first-class personalised care. 
  • A talented communicator, skilled in developing relationships with residents & their families, GP's & forge strong links within the local community.

Package
  • Basic salary circa £60,000 - £70,000, based on experience.
