Working alongside one of the leading national care providers, Harben Green are looking to source a Home Manager for a beautiful nursing care home in Hengoed.


A national care provider, my client is driven to recruit Home Managers who will flourish through the clear career progression they provide. They are passionate to promote their team culture to work together & bring joy to their residents everyday, whilst always striving to be respectful.


This beautiful purpose built, mid-sized home is a short walk from Hengoed town centre & enjoys stunning views of the famous Welsh valleys. This is a great opportunity for an accomplished & succesful Manager to continue to move this home forward, building & developing a strong team to deliver the highest standards of care & achieve a positive rating upon their next inspection.

  • Managing the day to day operations of the home.
  • Build, develop & mentor your team whilst ensuring the highest quality of person-centred care is delivered.
  • Ensure the home continues to move forward to improve & exceed current Care Inspectorate requirements.
  • Develop strong relationships with residents & their families, local communities & regulatory bodies.
  • Effective marketing of the home to drive both recruitment to your team and occupancy
  • Budget management.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years Home Manager experience.
  • RGN/RMN active PIN or experience managing nursing homes.
  • An in-depth knowledge & understanding of current Care Inspectorate regulations & requirements.
  • A proven track record of managing ‘Good’ homes or turning around failing homes.
  • Strong people management experience, someone who can successfully recruit & build a team and develop their people to consistently achieve excellence.
