We are working with an independent, national care provider to recruit a Home Manager for a purpose-built, nursing home in Wolverhampton.


My Client is a well renowned care provider with a nationwide portfolio of modern, nursing & residential care homes. Alongside a culture of providing the highest quality professional care throughout their homes, my Client fully supports their Managers to develop long & rewarding careers with them.    


The opportunity to manage a mid-sized, recently refurbished, nursing care home on the outskirts of Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will be an accomplished Manager who will swiftly & effectively move this home forward & lead their team to achieve the "Good" rating it truly deserves. 

  • Responsible for the day to day operations of the home.
  • Provide strong leadership to ensure the highest quality of person-centred resident & nursing care is delivered -  including residents requiring complex care.
  • Ensure the home only moves forward to improve & exceed current CQC requirements & achieve a "Good" rating overall upon the next inspection.
  • Forge and manage strong relationships with residents & their families, the local community and regulatory bodies. 
  • Budget & cost management to deliver a profitable home.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years management experience within the care sector.
  • RGN/RMN active PIN is preferred
  • Adept in managing "Good" rated homes or turning around failing homes.  
  • An in-depth knowledge & understanding of current CQC regulations & requirements.
  • Strong people management & communication skills, someone who can provide great leadership to develop and inspire their team to consistently achieve excellence. 
  • Sound commercial awareness experienced in running a financially viable home

  • Circa £70,000 Basic salary
