We are working alongside an established regional care provider to source a Home Manager for their small nursing & dementia care home in Harrogate.


A well respected, leading care operator, my Client has been considered to be one of the UK's Top 20 Care Home providers for the past 3 years. Their dedicated teams are passionate to ensure each resident receives the highest level of personalised care in a warm, homely environment.


A unique opportunity to manage a small purpose built, nursing & specialist dementia care home located just a short walk from the picturesque Victoria spa town of Harrogate.  The ideal candidate will successfully increase occupancy levels whilst building a strong, passionate team who will deliver exceptional levels of care. 

  • Manage the day to day runnings of the home.
  • Effectively build, manage & motivate your team to provide the highest standards of person-centred nursing & dementia care.
  • Ensure the home continues to maintain their "Good" rating with the determination to achieve "Outstanding" upon their next inspection.
  • Build strong relationships with residents & their families, the local community & regulatory bodies. 
  • Budget management & cost control.
  • Effective marketing of the home within the local community in order to increase occupancy & awareness.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years Home Manager experience.
  • An active NMC pin or proven experience managing Nursing homes will be considered.
  • Strong management experience, someone who can successfully recruit & build a team and develop their people to consistently achieve excellence.
  • An in-depth knowledge & understanding of current CQC regulations & requirements.
  • Sound commercial skillset, the ability to increase occupancy levels.
  • Proven experience managing "Good" homes.

  • £45,000 Basic salary
