Harben Green are working with a privately owned, regional care provider to recruit a Home Manager for this recently acquired, large purpose-built nursing care home in Chester.


An established & respected, family run care operator, my Client takes great pride in the strong, nurturing care they provide their residents. They are passionate to recruit Managers who will thrive in their family environment & enjoy long-lasting careers within their company.


The opportunity to manage an attractive large nursing home, located in a peaceful residential area towards the heart of Chester. This is a unique home consisting of three villas each of which benefits from a Unit Manager. The successful candidate will be a strong, accomplished Home Manager who will oversee the villas, leading their team into their first CQC inspection.

  • Overall management of this multi-site nursing home.
  • Lead. coach & develop your team to provide residents with the highest quality of person-centred care.
  • Ensure each property & the home overall achieves a "Good" overall upon their first inspection, exceeding current CQC requirements.
  • Forge and manage strong, compassionate relationships with residents & their families, the local community, your internal teams & regulatory bodies. 
  • Budget & cost management to deliver a profitable home.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years Home management experience.
  • Proven ability in managing "Good" rated homes or turning around failing homes.
  • Strong people management skills, someone who can provide effective leadership with a passion to develop & mentor their team to consistently achieve excellence. 
  • Sound commercial skillset, adept in managing a profitable home.
  • An in-depth knowledge & understanding of current CQC regulations & requirements.

  • Circa £55,000 basic salary.
