Assisting a well-established regional care provider, Harben Green are sourcing an ambitious Home Manager to operate a modern, purpose-built residential home located on the edge of Wigan.


Providing expert & personalised care across Lancashire, my Clients award-winning homes ensure each resident feels safe & welcomed in a luxury & homely environment. As a family-run care operator, they source & invest in high calibre Managers who are proud deliver a first-class level of innovative person-centred care.


Managing a beautiful, mid-sized residential home just a short drive from Wigan, the successful candidate will be passionate in their role, leading their team towards exceptional standards. You will be motivated by challenge & driven to achieve a 'Good' CQC upon the next inspection delivering continual progression for the home & your team.

  • Overall day to day management of the home.
  • Lead & develop your team whilst ensuring the highest standard of person-centred care is delivered.
  • Ensure the home moves forward to improve & exceed current CQC requirements, striving to achieve a 'Good' rating upon the next inspection.
  • Forge strong, compassionate relationships with residents & their families, the local community & regulatory bodies. 
  • Budget management - responsible for the financial running of the home.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 3+ years management experience within nursing homes
  • Level 4 or above leadership & management qualification
  • An in-depth knowledge & understanding of current CQC regulations & requirements, complying with policies & practices.
  • Strong people management skills, someone who can build, inspire and lead their colleagues to consistently achieve excellence.  
  • Sound commercial skillset, financial & business acumen.
