We are assisting a small, regional care operator to source a motivated Home Manager for their mid-sized care home in Chesterfield.


Client:

Renowned throughout Derbyshire & South Yorkshire for their dedication & compassion, my Client is a small, privately owned company who pride themselves in the individual care they provide their residents in a safe, comfortable & homely surroundings.


Role:

The opportunity to manage a lovely purpose-built, specialist elderly care home just North of Chesterfield city centre. Already a passionate & adept Home Manager, the successful candidate will lead & inspire their team with an infectious ambition to exceed in CQC ratings upon the next inspection.


Responsibilities:
  • Day to day management of the residential care home.
  • Lead & mentor your team to deliver a first-rate standard of personalised care. 
  • Ensure the home moves forward to improve & exceed CQC compliance achieving a "Good" overall upon their next inspection.
  • Dedicate time to forging strong relationships with residents & their families, the local community, your internal teams & regulatory bodies. 
  • Budget & cost management to deliver a profitable home.
  • Effective marketing of the home within the local community to increase occupancy.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years Home management experience.
  • Proven ability in managing "Good" rated homes or turning around failing homes.
  • Strong people management skills, someone who can provide effective leadership passionate to ensure their team consistently achieves excellence. 
  • Sound commercial skillset, adept in both marketing & managing a profitable home.
  • An in-depth knowledge & understanding of current CQC regulations & requirements.

Package:
  • Circa £45,000 basic salary.
