Harben Green is assisting an established regional care provider to source a dedicated Home Manager for this residential & nursing home located just South of Chorley.


Client:

An award-winning luxury care operator, my Client is renowned for their innovative approach to care. They are passionate to promote a rich & varied lifestyle for their residents through the expert care they provide & driven to recruit highly skilled candidates, those whom they can invest & develop in. 


Role:

A fantastic opportunity to manage an elegant, mid-sized & modern nursing home set in beautiful gardens, easily commutable from Chorley, Wigan & Bolton. The perfect candidate will bring compassion & dedication, ensuring the home enjoys continual progression through exceptional standards of care & progresses to achieve a "Good" CQC report upon the next inspection.


Responsibilities:
  • Managing the daily runnings of the home.
  • Lead, develop & motivate your team to create a welcoming, supportive environment ensuring the highest quality of personalised care is delivered.
  • Build strong rapport with residents & their families, the local community & regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, processes & CQC regulations is consistently adhered to.
  • Manage the home & your team effectively to improve to a 'Good' rating, exceeding CQC requirements.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 3+ years management experience within the care sector.
  • NMC active PIN or experience working within a Nursing Home environment
  • Level 4 or above qualification in leadership & management.
  • Proven ability in managing "Good" rated homes or turning around failing homes alongside in-depth knowledge & understanding of CQC regulations.
  • Strong communication skills, leading & inspiring a team to push for excellence.
  • Sound financial & business acumen, skilled in running a profitable home.
