We are working alongside a respected, award-winning care provider to source a Home Manager for their purpose-built nursing & dementia care home in Northumberland.

Role:

A unique opportunity to manage an attractive mid-sized, nursing care home located in the historic town of Hexham in Northumberland. The ideal candidate will be passionate & ambitious to continue to lead the team to deliver exceptional levels of care & progress to 'Oustanding' CQC rating upon the next inspection.


Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day to day runnings of the home.
  • Lead from the front, managing & developing the team to provide the highest standards of person-centred nursing & dementia care.
  • Ensure the home continues to maintain their "Good" rating with the determination to achieve "Outstanding" upon their next inspection.
  • Build strong relationships with residents & their families, the local community & regulatory bodies. 
  • Effective marketing of the home within the local community in order to increase occupancy & awareness.
  • Cost control & budget management.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years Home Manager experience.
  • An active NMC pin or proven experience managing Nursing homes will be considered.
  • Strong management experience, someone who can successfully develop & motivate a team, consistently achieving excellence.
  • An in-depth knowledge & understanding of current CQC regulations & requirements.
  • Sound commercial skillset, the ability to increase occupancy levels.
  • Proven experience managing "Good" homes.

Package:
