We are assisting one of the UK's leading, nationwide care providers to source a Home Manager for a nursing & dementia care home located in a quiet area on the outskirts of West Bromwich.

Role:

This is a unique opportunity for a strong & experienced Manager to manage an attractive, large, purpose-built nursing home set in pretty gardens just north of Birmingham, easily accessible from the M5. The ideal candidate will thrive on the challenge of leading their team to deliver a "Good" CQC upon their next inspection.


Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations of the home.
  • Lead, motivate and inspire your team to create a caring, family environment delivering the highest standards of person-centred care to residents. 
  • Ensure improvements are made within the home and in order to work towards achieving a better CQC report upon the next inspection.
  • Budget & audit management - responsible for the financial running of the home.
  • Develop strong relationships with residents and their families, the local community and regulatory bodies. 

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years Home Manager experience within the care sector.
  • RGN/RMN active PIN is desirable.
  • Registered Managers Award - Level 4/equivalent or working toward.
  • Proven experience managing "Good" rated homes, and/or turning around failing homes.
  • Sound financial & business acumen.
  • Demonstrable people management skills, someone who can lead, inspire and motivate teams to consistently achieve excellence. 
  • A proven ability in ensuring compliance with company & CQC policies, practices & processes is both adhered to and consistently achieved.
