We are working with an expanding, regional care provider to source a Home Manager for a nursing & residential care home on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells.


Client:

An established, progressive care operator, my Client is renowned for the relationship centred care they provide within their homes. They are dedicated to providing ongoing training & recognising the talent of their teams to develop a truly motivated & passionate workforce. 


Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong & experienced Manager to manage a modern, mid-sized, residential & nursing home located in Tunbridge Wells. An ambitious manager, the ideal candidate will thrive on the challenge of progressing the home forwards through strong & inspirational leadership to continue to achieve a 'Good' rating.


Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day to day running of the home.
  • Provide strong leadership to develop & inspire your team to provide the highest standards of outstanding care.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies & CQC requirements is consistently achieved & adhered to.
  • Progress standards within the home in order to continue achieving a 'Good' CQC report.
  • Develop strong & compassionate relationships with residents and their families, the local community and regulatory bodies. 
  • Effective financial management to run a profitable & well-marketed home within the local area.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2 + years management experience, preferably within Nursing homes. 
  • RGN/RMN with an active PIN and/or RMA - Level 4/equivalent combined with nursing experience.
  • Proven experience managing "Good" rated homes and/or in turning around homes.
  • An in-depth knowledge of current CQC regulations.
  • Sound understanding of marketing a home to increase awareness & in turn occupancy within the local community.
  • A talented communicator, someone who can provide strong & effective leadership to inspire & motivate their team to consistently achieve excellence.
