We are working with a national care provider to recruit a Home Manager for a newly built, luxury nursing & residential care home just south-east of Glasgow.


A well-established & respected care provider, my Client has a vision to create a sense of community within their homes, respecting the happiness of residents & ensuring peace of mind to all families through their relationship-centred approach & outstanding levels of care. 


A great opportunity to manage this new purpose-built, large luxury care home located in the town of Hamilton in Scotland. The successful candidate will be an ambitious & experienced Manager who can firmly establish this home within the local community, driving occupancy whilst building a dedicated & passionate team.

  • Manage the day to day operations of the home.
  • Build & coach your team to create a caring environment, ensuring the highest quality of professional care is delivered.
  • Budget & cost management to deliver a profitable home.
  • Effective marketing of the home within the local community to maximise occupancy.
  • Progress the home to achieve a 'Very Good" rating, & further move forward to exceed Care Inspectorate requirements.
  • Forge and manage strong relationships with residents & their families, the local community & regulatory bodies.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years Manager experience, preferably in commissioning homes.
  • RGN/RMN with an active PIN
  • An in-depth knowledge & understanding of current Care Inspectorate regulations & requirements.
  • Strong marketing experience to enhance awareness & occupancy in this home.
  • Sound commercial awareness experienced in running a financially viable home.  
  • An inspirational Manager who can lead from the front to develop & mentor large teams to consistently achieve excellence.
