Harben Green is working alongside a well-established, privately-owned care provider to recruit a Home Manager for this large, purpose-built nursing & residential care home in Greater London.

Role:

This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious Manager to manage a large attractive, modern, nursing home set in beautifully landscaped gardens in Acton, west London. Experienced in managing larger homes, the ideal candidate will be highly motivated to progress the home & loyal team to achieve an "Outstanding" CQC upon their next inspection.


Responsibilities:
  • Day to day management of the home.
  • Budget management & cost control. Managing resources in line with company objectives & targets. 
  • Provide strong leadership - motivate your team to create a caring, family environment ensuring the highest standards of care are achieved.
  • Ensure compliance with company policy, procedures & CQC regulations is consistently adhered to. 
  • Promote the home within the local community to maintain occupancy levels & drive recruitment initiatives. 
  • Manage and develop strong relationships with regulatory & governing bodies. 

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years management experience within the care sector.  
  • RMA - NVQ Level 5 or above.
  • An in-depth knowledge & understanding of current CQC regulations & requirements.
  • Proven experience managing large homes with a 'Good' CQC rating.
  • Strong communication skills - the ability to lead & develop a team, striving for continual excellence.
  • Sound commercial skillset, adept in budget management & marketing.
