We are working alongside a well-established, award-winning care provider to source a Home Manager for their modern nursing & residential care home in Blackburn.

A unique opportunity to manage an attractive mid-sized, nursing care home located in Blackburn, on the outskirts of Lancashire. The ideal candidate will be a passionate & ambitious Manager who will continue to lead the team to deliver exceptional levels of care and progress to an 'Outstanding' CQC rating.

  • Manage the day to day runnings of the home.
  • Lead from the front, building & developing the team to provide the highest standards of person-centred care.
  • Ensure the home continues to maintain their "Good" rating with the determination to achieve "Outstanding" upon their next inspection.
  • Create individual care plans for residents, ensuring compliance with company policies & CQC requirements is achieved.
  • Build strong relationships with residents & their families, the local community & regulatory bodies. 
  • Effective marketing of the home within the local community in order to increase occupancy & awareness.
  • Cost control & budget management.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years Management experience, preferably within Nursing homes.
  • RGN/RMN with an active PIN.
  • RMA Level 4 and above. 
  • Proven experience managing mid-sized "Good" rated homes.
  • Strong management experience, someone who can successfully develop & motivate a team, consistently achieving excellence.
  • In-depth knowledge & proven track record achieving compliance with current CQC regulations & requirements.
  • Skilled in both financial management & marketing.
