Harben Green are working with a leading, established care provider to source a Home Manager for a modern, luxury nursing & residential home in Stockport.

Role:

An opportunity has arisen to manage this recently refurbished, mid-sized nursing & residential home located in Stockport, with easy access to the A6. The ideal candidate will be an experienced & ambitious manager who can inspire a loyal team to deliver exceptional standards of care & progress the home to exceed current CQC ratings.


Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the daily runnings of the home.
  • Provide strong & effective leadership to coach & inspire your team to deliver the highest levels of person-centred care.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies & CQC requirements in order to maintain & exceed "Good" upon their next inspection.
  • Manage & develop strong relationships with residents & their families, the local community & regulatory bodies.
  • Effective marketing of the home to increase occupancy. 
  • Budget & cost control to run a profitable home.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years home management experience, preferably within a Nursing home.
  • RMA Level 4 or above / equivalent management qualification in care.
  • RGN/RMN with an active PIN.
  • A proven ability managing "Good" rated homes, and/or turning around failing homes. 
  • In-depth knowledge of current CQC regulations & requirements, skilled in delivering process & compliance.
  • Strong communication skills, someone who can lead from the front to develop & mentor others to consistently achieve excellence.
  • Commercial awareness - sound marketing experience & financial management.

Package:
  • £55,000 Basic salary
