Harben Green are working with an established, well-respected care provider to recruit a Home Manager for their attractive, purpose-built nursing care home in Aberdeen.

The opportunity to manage a modern, mid-large sized nursing home located just south of Aberdeen, within reach of the River Dee. A strong & experienced manager, the ideal candidate will lead & develop their team to deliver exceptional levels of care & progress the home to improve current Care Inspectorate standards. 

  • Overall management of the home.
  • Lead & develop your team whilst ensuring the highest quality of person-centred care is delivered through individual care plans.
  • Ensure the home moves forward to improve & exceed current Care Inspectorate requirements, striving for a 'Good' rating.
  • Forge and manage strong, compassionate relationships with residents & their families, the local community & regulatory bodies. 
  • Budget & cost management to deliver a profitable home.
  • Effective marketing of the home to increase awareness & occupancy.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years management experience within nursing homes.
  • RGN/RMN with an active PIN.
  • Proven ability in managing "Good" large homes and/or strong turnaround experience.    
  • In-depth knowledge & understanding of current Care Inspectorate regulations & requirements.
  • Strong people management skills, someone who can provide effective leadership with a passion to develop & mentor their team to consistently achieve excellence. 
  • Sound commercial skillset, adept in managing a profitable home.
  • Marketing experience - increasing awareness & occupancy.
