Harben Green are working with a well-respected & established care provider to source a Home Manager for a purpose-built, mid-sized residential home in Chorley

The opportunity has arisen to manage this attractive, mid-sized residential home located in the market town of Chorley. A strong & experienced manager, you will thrive in building & developing a loyal team who will maintain & progress the homes "Good" rating & reputation.

  • Responsible for the daily management of the home.
  • Recruit & develop your team to provide the highest quality of person-centred care through individual care plans.
  • Forge compassionate relationships with residents & their families, local communities & regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies & CQC requirements to maintain the "Good" CQC & strive for 'Outstanding' upon their next inspection.
  • Cost control & budget management.
  • Effective marketing of the home within the local community to drive occupancy & raise awareness. 

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years home management experience
  • RMA Level 4 or above/equivalent management qualification in care.
  • A proven ability managing "Good" rated homes, ideally experienced in turning around homes.
  • In-depth knowledge of current CQC regulations & requirements, skilled in delivering process & compliance.
  • Commercial awareness - knowledge in financial management & effective marketing.
  • Strong communication skills, someone who can lead from the front with a passion to develop & mentor others to consistently achieve excellence.

  • Circa £40,000 Basic salary
