Harben Green are working with an established, well-respected care provider to recruit a Home Manager for their attractive, purpose-built nursing & residential care home in Edinburgh.

The opportunity to manage a modern, mid-sized, purpose-built nursing home located just east of Edinburgh, within reach of the A1. A passionate & experienced Manager, the ideal candidate will thrive in building & developing a loyal team who will exceed current 'Care Inspectorate' requirements.

  • Daily management of the home.
  • Build, recruit & inspire your team to provide the highest quality of person-centred care.
  • Effectively promote the home to increase current occupancy levels.
  • Ensure the home moves forward to maintain & progress current Care Inspectorate requirements, striving for a 'Very Good' rating.
  • Forge and manage strong, long-lasting relationships with residents & their families, the local community & regulatory bodies. 
  • Deliver a profitable home through budget & cost management.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years management experience within nursing homes.
  • RGN/RMN with an active PIN.
  • RMA Level 4 and above.
  • Proven ability in managing mid-size "Good" rated homes with an in-depth understanding of current & evolving Care Inspectorate requirements.
  • Excellent communication & leadership skills, driven to develop the team to consistently achieve excellence.
  • Marketing experience - increasing awareness & occupancy.
  • Strong commercial skillset, adept in managing a profitable home.
