Harben Green are assisting an independent care provider to recruit a Home Manager to run a mid-size nursing & residential home located near Edinburgh.

Role:

A great opportunity for an experienced & successful Manager to oversee an elegant, 60+bedded nursing & residential home near Edinburgh. Through dedicated support & development, the ideal candidate will lead their teams to deliver excellence in high-quality, person-centred care. 


Responsibilities:
  • Manage the clinical & commercial operations of the Home
  • Lead a highly-skilled clinical team to develop best practice & excel in the provision of outstanding levels of care. 
  • Regularly audit clinical & care processes to effectively manage risk & monitor performance, implementing change where necessary.
  • Create strong positive relationships with internal & external stakeholders & regulatory bodies.
  • Effective financial management & marketing of the home in line with company cost & occupancy targets.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • Significant care home management experience - within nursing homes would be advantageous.
  • A proactive & positive team leader with excellent communication & problem-solving skills.
  • Sound commercial awareness - budget & cost control.
  • Competent in the delivery of safeguarding, Care Inspectorate & NMC regulations, ensuring consistent compliance.
  • An active NMC Pin is desired but not essential.
  • Proven track record of care plan auditing & developing clinical standards.
  • A true passion for older people care, driven to develop & progress your personal clinical knowledge.

Package:
  • Up to £60,000 basic salary
