Harben Green are working with a well-respected South West based charity to source an ambitious Home Manager for a brand-new nursing & residential home in Bristol

Role:

A new exciting opportunity for a dynamic & experienced Home Manager to run newly built, 60+ bedded nursing & residential home due to open in early 2020. The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse who will enjoy the challenge of commissioning & managing an outstanding, well-led service.


Responsibilities:
  • You will play a pivotal role in building & leading a passionate multi-disciplinary team to deliver exceptional care. 
  • Responsible for the daily running of the home.
  • Effective marketing of the home to develop a positive reputation within the local community & to achieve high occupancy levels.
  • Establish & manage a financially profitable business through effective budget & cost management.
  • Ensuring compliance with both CQC & company policies, practices & processes is both adhered to & consistently achieved from the offset.
  • Build a strong & effective network with internal & external stakeholders, the local community & regulatory bodies.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • RMN / RGN Active Nursing Pin.
  • NVQ Level 5 diploma or equivalent.
  • Sound marketing experience to build the home's reputation & maximise occupancy.
  • A talented people manager who will recruit & develop a loyal team to deliver extraordinary levels of person-centred care.
  • Proven experience in a Registered Managers role - highly organised & personable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CQC regulations & requirements.

Package:
  • Up to £50,000 basic salary
