Harben Green is working alongside a premier nursing care provider to recruit a Home Manager for their small, purpose built nursing home in Bury St Edmunds.


Client:

This growing, well respected care home provider have a portfolio of nursing and dementia care homes across the UK. They build and manage luxury care homes where they strongly believe in providing a welcome and warm environment to deliver exceptional "quality of life" care.


Role:

The opportunity to manage this small and luxury, purpose built nursing home based in the centre of this lovely town. Alongside a long serving established team, the home also benefits from a great reputation within the local community and due to an internal move, my Client is now looking for a strong manager to ensure the home continues to thrive and provide exceptional levels of care.


Responsibilities:
  • Working alongside the Operations Director to lead the day to day management of the home.
  • Engage and inspire your team to ensure the highest standards of person centred care continue to be delivered and improved.
  • Develop the established team and effectively recognise & recruit great team members when required.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, regulatory bodies and the local community.
  • Lead the home through the next CQC inspection which is forecast to occur in the next 6 months. 

Key skills & knowledge:
  • A qualified Nurse with an active NMC pin.
  • Deputy management/ Clinical lead experience within nursing homes.
  • An in depth knowledge & understanding of current CQC regulations & requirements.
  • People management experience, someone who is able lead from the front to develop others to consistently achieve excellence.
  • Good business acumen.
