Harben Green are working with an award-winning, well-established care provider to recruit a Regional Support Manager to oversee their portfolio of nursing & residential homes across the North & Scotland.

Role:

The opportunity to oversee my Clients portfolio of attractive, purpose-built, nursing & residential homes located throughout the North & Scotland. The ideal candidate will be a talented & experienced Home or Regional Manager who will be proactive in their role, offering support across the homes & leading Managers to achieve the best Care Inspectorate ratings.


Responsibilities:
  • Support the Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of the homes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies & Care Inspectorate requirements.
  • Achieve 'Good' Care Inspectorate ratings across the Northern & Scottish homes with an ambition to achieve "Very Good".
  • Provide strong leadership to support the Managers of each home; developing & motivating passionate teams.
  • Budget & audit management - responsible for overseeing the financial running of the homes.  

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 2+ years Home Manager experience, preferably within Nursing homes.
  • Multi-site experience is desirable.
  • RGN/RMN active PIN.
  • Registered Managers Award - Level 4/equivalent or working towards.
  • Proven experience in managing "Good" rated homes and/or in turning around homes.
  • In-depth knowledge of Care Inspectorate regulations.
  • Budget management & cost control. Managing resources in line with company objectives. 
  • Strong management skills, someone who can support & mentor their team to consistently achieve excellence.
