We are proud to assist an award-winning regional care provider to source a Registered Home Manager for a modern nursing & residential care home in Southampton.


As a well-respected operator within the care industry, my Client is dedicated to the resident experience. Through a considered selection process they attract loyal team members who are sensitive to the needs & preferences of all residents, supporting them to remain active, with happy & fulfilling lives.


An accomplished & empathetic Manager, the successful candidate will lead a close-knit team & run this 70+bedded, recently expanded nursing & residential home. You will have a proven ability in overseeing a large service & will be highly motivated to progress to "outstanding" & commission their recent expansion.

  • Responsible for the operational running of the home.
  • Guide & empower a multi-disciplined team to continue to excel in the care they provide, facilitating their professional development. 
  • Deliver consistent compliance with company policies & CQC registration & requirements.
  • Maintain the home’s “good” rating, striving to achieve “outstanding”.
  • Ensure the successful commissioning of approx 20 additional beds.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • RMA Level 4 or equivalent (or working towards).
  • A strong history of managing “good” nursing & residential care homes (non-nurses will be considered).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current & evolving CQC requirements, skilled in process & compliance.
  • Sound knowledge of CMS, skilled in time management & workload management.
  • A talented & personable manager who can demonstrate professional leadership.
  • Knowledge of Dementia strategy & specialist nursing practises would be an advantage.
